Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican American broadcaster. She is an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation at times. She was hired by ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. Her mother is television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been bi-lingual since nine years old. The couple stayed with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime in which she was offered an opportunity to work. Antonietta was the senior of her high school however, she had a very clear vision of what she wanted to do in her future career. She went to Mount Union University to find out if the school was suitable for her. It turned out that she enjoyed the university, and the university provided the degree she was looking for. After graduation, she went to the university as a media studies major. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU, of which she is a member. They had a very close relationship. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm for Journalism deeply touched her.
