Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent for Space and Defense she covers all aspects of space including NASA to the recently formed Space Force as well as commercial space businesses and tourism in space. As the daughter and the mother of two NASA astronauts Kristin was raised in the space industry and spent the last five years covering the Biden and Trump Space policies of the administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. As she covered the two impeachment proceedings against the president and the presidential campaign for 2020, as well as both administrations' efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other subjects. She also was on numerous trips with President and Vice President, including a top secret visit to Afghanistan with former President Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won an Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter, before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in the year 2014. The company specialized in making documentary films for corporate clients which included Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. Kristin lives with husband, daughter, and their three-year-old in Washington, D.C.
